DocScapes Brings ‘Waking Dream’ to Campus

DocScapes, the collaborative project of the UArizona Center for Documentary initiative and the Hanson FilmTV Institute, presents Waking Dream, a timely docu-series about DACA recipients in limbo, on November 20. In attendance for a post-screening panel will be filmmaker Theo Rigby, series subject Marisol, and Darío Andrade Mendoza, a DACA recipient and graduate student at the UArizona Electrical and Computer Engineering Department.
Co-sponsors include the School of Theatre, Film & Television, the Center for Latin American Studies, The Human Rights Practice Program, School of Anthropology, School of Journalism, and the Center for Global and Border Journalism.

Becky Senf Ccp will speak about and read short excerpts from her new book "Making a Photographer: The Early Work of Ansel Adams," which reveals details about how the photographer’s early decades changed the course of his successful career.
