Creative Media Advertising
Study of and practice in the creative aspects of advertising, including idea origination, media selection, and construction and evaluation of projects.
Below are the creative product deliverables students designed to advertise for I Dream in Widescreen.
TAGLINE
One tagline that captures the essence of the creative product – this tagline will be used on the Poster, in the PR material and other promotional material.
POSTER
One (1) 11 x 17” color poster including a traditional “BILLING BLOCK” listing student filmmaker and other important players in the movie/screenplay (please check with filmmaker as to who/what should be included) mounted on a 22 x 28” foam core mounting board – promoting the movie/screenplay you have been assigned. You must use UA logos archived on D2L.
PRESENTATION
Your group will present a 7-minute digital/electronic presentation in Power Point to include the executions listed above. You will have Seven (7) minutes to present to judges and you will use computer and projection equipment. Everyone in your group must participate. You will be summarizing your creative thinking for the project and describing the required elements. You should have a clear introduction of what you are presenting including one slide with each of the executions you have created for the project. Then show your work and describe it, “own it” and be confident in your recommendations. Then have a closing portion where you justify why your project is the one that has the best ideas.
