UA Design Students Learn the Art of the Letterpress

Students are learning about typesetting throught the recently expanded Book Art and Letterpress Lab. Having to sort letters one at a time, ink the rollers and handcrank a letterpress provides a sense of artistic satisfaction to an increasing number of UA students looking to expand their design skills.

Becky Senf Ccp will speak about and read short excerpts from her new book "Making a Photographer: The Early Work of Ansel Adams," which reveals details about how the photographer’s early decades changed the course of his successful career. Bring questions for a lively discussion with this Ansel Adams scholar.
