TFTV Alum Sierra Ornelas Creates #Donation4NavajoNationChallenge to benefit Navajo Citizens in wake of COVID-19

The Navajo Nation has the third highest covid-19 infection rate per-capita in the country, behind New York and New Jersey. TFTV alumna Sierra Ornelas, a Navajo Mexican-American writer and showrunner for NBC shows like Superstore, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and the new Rutherford Falls, has created the #Donation4NavajoNationChallenge. Her campaign is raising funds to deliver medical supplies and essential items like PPE to Navajo citizens.
