The Fred Fox School of Music is sad to share that our dear friend, Peter Coogan, passed away on April 9, 2020. Thanks to the generosity of Peter and his wife, Debbie, our school was recently able to acquire two new Steinway grand pianos for Holsclaw Hall and Crowder Hall. Our students, faculty, staff and members of our audience are truly grateful to Peter and Debbie, as well as to the Music Advisory Board for their fundraising efforts to make this possible.
Peter Coogan’s family asks that contributions in Peter’s memory be made to the University of Arizona Fred Fox School of Music, among other organizations. For more information, please contact Arizona Arts Philanthropy at 520-621-9057. Gifts can also be sent directly to the University of Arizona Foundation (for benefit of the Fred Fox School of Music), 1111 N. Cherry Avenue, Tucson, AZ 85721-0109 or via the website https://bddy.me/xxxxxx
