The University of Arizona School of Art offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in studio art, art history, art and visual culture education (AVCE), and design arts and practices, along with a graduate certificate in museum studies and an online BA in Digital Arts and Practices. The AVCE program, one of few of its kind nationally, prepares graduates to become leaders in art education, museum education, and community-based arts practice. Students also study across diverse areas including painting and drawing, illustration, design and animation, photography, video and imaging, printmaking, and 3D and extended media. The School’s Photography, Video & Imaging program is ranked No. 3 nationally for graduate study by U.S. News & World Report, and its Illustration, Design and Animation program is ranked among the top public programs by Animation Career Review.
