The JustArts Fellowship empowers students to use the art forms they love to shape a better future.
Five students are selected to participate in the fellowship cohort each year. Fellows collaborate with student peers, mentors, and community partners to bring their vision of change to life.
Meet alumni of the JustArts Fellowship and read about students’ experiences in the fellowship.
Award: $6,000 stipend + $1,500 project execution budget
Application Deadline: spring semester

MAP Network
U, G, F, S
The Mentoring in the Arts Professions or MAP Network is a student-centered series of conversations with professionals and alumni from wide-ranging backgrounds who are living artful lives.
A safe space to ask anything, MAP provides access to career stories, insider advice, and vibrant cross-disciplinary networks on campus and throughout the world.
All are invited to join.
Event dates: fall/spring semesters

SALON Event
U, G
The annual SALON (Students in the Arts Live Opportunity Night) is a campus community gathering to share and experience works in progress by student performers, musicians, artists, and cultural producers at U of A.
SALON takes its name from salons of 18th-century Paris that drew artists, scholars and supporters together to share their art and knowledge with each other in a social environment. This energizing event is open to all students interested in creating community, conversations, and connection and all who wish to support them in their artistic journey.
Date: We look forward to seeing you at the next SALON in Fall 2025!
