Louis Carlos Bernal Retrospectiva, a sobremesa, that is, a casual conversation accompanying/after a meal among friends and family, this Saturday, October 26 at the Hotel McCoy from 5-6:30, that brings together intersectional AAPI+Latine perspectives on the visions of Bernal’s work. There will be food— if you haven’t yet tried Jackie Tran’s culinary inventions, this is your chance to check out the ethereal dumplings and more (including a stuffed Chinese chorizo potato mochi as part of the Chinese Chorizo Festival) at Trans Fat Food Truck before its closing in December.
Join Feng-Feng Yeh, the visionary behind Chinese Chorizo (@chinesechorizoproject)—a chef, activist, and multidisciplinary artist— as she sits down with Virginia Grise (@virginiagrise), an award-winning writer, performer, playwright, director, and creative producer. Also featuring Tran’s Fat Food Truck (@transfatstruck), a local favorite known for its creative twist on Asian street food.
