Cameron Awkward-Rich & Franny Cho Poetry Reading

We are proud to inaugurate our H.D./Bryher Residency Reading with Cameron Awkward-Rich and Franny Choi. Named for poet H.D. and her longtime partner Bryher, this annual residency and reading will host LGBTQ+ voices for 7-10 day stays at the Poetry Center.

Cameron Awkward-Rich’s most recent book is An Optimism. He is also the author of Dispatch, winner of the Lexi Rudnitsky Editor’s Choice Award, and Sympathetic Little Monster, as well as the theoretical text The Terrible We: Thinking with Trans Maladjustment.

Franny Choi is a poet and essayist. Their books include The World Keeps Ending, and the World Goes On; Soft Science; Death by Sex Machine and Floating, Brilliant, Gone. Her writing has appeared in the New York Times, the Atlantic, the Paris Review, and elsewhere. Franny is Faculty in Literature at Bennington College and the founder of Brew & Forge.
