Daniel Jones taches classes in the School of Art's First Year Experience program. Daniel, from New Orleans, is a visual artist working in mixed media. From immersive installation to intricate works made of paper, Jones said she explores forms in transition through her relationship with materials and methods while addressing intersections of psychological and physical conflicts.

As a graduate student at the School of Art, Jones received two Medici Scholar project grants, a Helen Gross award and the Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant award. She received her BA in Art form Southeastern Louisiana University.
