Gia Del Pino

As the Student Programs Coordinator for Arts Connect, Gia Del Pino oversees several key initiatives, including Arizona Arts’ signature program JustArts Fellowship, Mentorship in the Arts Program (M.A.P.), and Student Artist Live Opportunity Night (SALON).

The JustArts Fellowship—co-developed with students and Dr. Amy Kraehe—launched in 2022 to empower students to address challenges on campus creatively through the arts. In this role, Gia collaborates closely with emerging artists and scholars, supporting their efforts to imagine and build a more just and inclusive world both on campus and beyond.

Gia earned her MFA in art and technology at the University of Florida. She is working on her PhD at the University of Arizona School of Art, studying Art and Visual Culture Education.
