The Visual Arts Graduate Research Laboratory is a 25,000-square-foot facility that includes 50 artist’s studios, wood and metal fabrication studios, a seminar room, and an 800-foot art gallery. The private graduate studios foster a vibrant, interdisciplinary community of artists, with students, faculty, and visiting artists and scholars interacting as they explore ideas, obtain knowledge and share techniques. Housed in this same facility, studio spaces for large wood and metal fabrication, a large (44”) digital printer and a Book Art and Letterpress Lab.
