Transfer Students

Build on your success.
Explore what’s next.

Transfer students, wherever you’re coming from, we’re excited to help you get where you’re going.

More than one in three of our incoming College of Fine Arts students are a transfer student like you. That’s because our degrees are transfer-friendly with clear, efficient pathways. Our academic advisors are eager to help, wherever you started and whatever your goals.

For Pima Community College students, our Associate’s-to-Bachelor’s (A2B) pathways make transferring seamless. They show you how to turn your Pima associate’s degree into a University of Arizona bachelor’s degree in two years.

Your journey continues. Select your path.

I am a Pima Community College student: find your pathway here, and get started today.

I am transferring from another institution. Students join us from more than 120 colleges and universities, including Northern Arizona University, Chandler-Gilbert, Cochise, Mesa and Scottsdale community colleges, and the military. These are your first steps.

A2B: Your pathway, simplified

We are proud of our special relationship with Pima Community College – nearly half of our transfer students start at Pima, and we’re simplifying the process all the time.

Pima Arts and the College of Fine Arts developed A2B pathways (Associate’s + Bachelor’s Pathway in the Arts), so you can graduate in two years after you transfer. You will take courses that count, completing two degrees at our two institutions.

Our current A2B pathways are shown below, and more are being added all the time.

Start early: Meet with your Pima advisor and a CFA advisor as soon as possible.
