Ashley Martin-Casler

Ashley Martin-Casler is the program coordinator for Arizona Arts Connect. She is a 2024-2025 University Fellow and doctoral student in the Applied Intercultural Arts Research Graduate Interdisciplinary Program. Her research interests include music/sound, community health and health design. Ashley attended Spelman College, the University of Arizona (UA), and Northern Arizona University (NAU), earning a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from UA and a Master of Music in Vocal Performance and a graduate certificate in Ethnic Studies from NAU. A former K-12 educator, Ashley taught in the Tucson Unified School District for nine years as a music teacher and arts integration specialist/Design Team member with the Opening Minds Through the Arts program. She is on the board of the Arizona Choral Arts Association where she assists with organizing the Tucson Big Sing and One Voice Choral Festival.
