This month is dedicated to honoring the achievements and contributions of Indigenous cultures, history, and influence. The University and Tucson community hosts various events, including lectures, workshops, and cultural performances, aimed at fostering understanding and appreciation of Native American communities. This month-long celebration emphasizes the importance of storytelling, education, and collaboration with Indigenous peoples, encouraging students and staff to engage with Indigenous culture and traditions throughout the month.
