Research Fridays
Research Fridays provide an accountable, collaborative space for grant proposal writing. You may work on any internal or external grant but our focus this semester will be on the internal grants listed below.
“Coming to Research Fridays has been invaluable as a part of my process for exploring and writing grant proposals. It’s a safe “workshop” space where I can get ideas and inspiration, or just show up and work on my own in a supportive environment. Just putting it on my calendar has been helpful as a way of carving out time for something that can be hard to commit to before deadlines rear their ugly head. I love coming to Research Friday!”

Smaller Internal Grants
- CFA Small Grants. Deadlines April 5 and June 7. $500–$1000
- Arizona Arts Diversity and Inclusion Grants. Deadline March 22. $1000–$2000
- George H Davis Fellowship. Deadline April 3. $2500 (for travel)
Larger Internal Grants
- RII Production Grants. Deadline April 3. $15,000–$20,000
- RII Community Engaged Partnerships Grants. Deadline April 3. Up to $25,000.
- Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) Faculty Seed Grants. Deadline April 15. $15,000–$25,000
All faculty and staff are encouraged to attend. Zoom option will be provided. Complimentary coffee and pastries will be available to in-person participants.
