Chinese New Year
Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026
Chinese New Year marks the start of the Chinese calendar and celebrates the transition from winter to spring. At the University of Arizona, we honor this tradition through College of Humanities’ East Asian Studies and our cultural community hub LOTUS Lounge Student Space. These spaces provide academic and community support, cultural programming, and resources that promote student success and increase awareness of Asian, Desi, and Pacific Islander experiences.
